We will continue to supplement our curriculum with monthly themes. These themes will be covered during preliminaries by supervisors and when possible/appropriate reinforced by teachers during the weekly lesson. I will send out reminders, however, here is the full schedule:

January  – New Year Resolutions

2 Corinthians 5:17 (New King James Version) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

February – Unconditional Love

John 15:12 (New King James Version) This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

March – No Worries

Matthew 6:33 (New King James Version) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

April – Obey God

John 14:15 (New International Version) If you love me, you will obey what I command.

May – Obey Parents

Ephesians 6:1-3 (New King James Version) 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

June– Obey Authority

Romans 13:1 (New International Version) Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

July – Independence Day

John 8:36 - Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

August – Committed to Righteousness

Psalm 101:3a - I will set nothing wicked before my eyes.

September – Setting the Right Example

Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

October – Spiritual Harvest

Matthew 9:37-38 (New King James Version) “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

November – Thanksgiving

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (New King James Version) [I]n everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

December – The Greatest Gift

Luke 2:10-11(New International Version) “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”
