Praise the Lord Everyone!

It has been a busy fall and I just wanted to bring everyone up to speed on a few items.

Harvest Movie Night

As has been announced in the sanctuary, we will have a Harvest Movie Night on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 7pm until 11pm. A Christian alternative to Trick-or-Treating, school-aged children and youth will be treated to age-appropriate movies, pizza, popcorn and CANDY!  We could use your help! Come on out for food, fellowship and fun and help us to celebrate the harvest (and avoid trick-or treaters!) with our children. Please sign up to volunteer or donate candy at the Registration Table.

Renovations

I am sure that you are aware of the renovations under way on the 2nd floor. Pastor and a group of volunteers have been painting, ripping out old carpet and redoing many of the Children’s Church areas. I appreciate your patience, as we have had to make last minute adjustments due to work underway. If you have any ideas or want to help us renovate, please let me know.

New Staff!

WoFKids! Welcomes several new staff members: Omar Brown (Juniors), Tracie Brown (Preschool), Haweh Kwaidah (Registration)! There are several other new members who are completing training and will be announced shortly! We thank God for sending out laborers for His harvest!

Praise & Worship

Instead of creating monthly praise and worship playlists, we have created a praise and worship library of videos available on the Xbox OneDrive. You can still find our videos on my YouTube channel  but do not have to worry about the sometimes inappropriate commercials during morning worship. Sister Amy is diligently working with our children and youth to establish our own Worship Team. Stay tuned!

Important Reminders

After children are signed into our care, we must be sure that they are under adult supervision at all times. This includes bathroom breaks, trips to the locker and resource errands. Should a child need to see a parent, be sure that child is accompanied to the sanctuary. Report disciplinary issues to me or the supervisor for the day.
